ReStudio is an organization that researches, develops and offers solutions based on information technology. It was founded in the port city of Valparaíso (Chile) in 2006, after five years of research under the wing of the University of Chile. It has the support of commercial entrepreneurship by the Chilean economic development agency (CORFO), the Ministry of Public Works (MOP), among others. Its "I + D" work since 2006 has resulted in an outstanding spin-off called "ReStudio Levantamientos Digitales SA" founded in 2011. Through its services, it actively participates in areas such as: mining, industrial projects; architecture and heritage, among others. ReStudio Levantamientos Digitales has a reputation in Chile, at the level of state organizations (CORFO, PROCHILE, MOP, among others) and private organizations (Codelco, Xstrata Copper, Fundición AltoNorte, Minera Escondida, Collahuasi, Küpfer, JRI Ingeniería, GHD Ingeniería). His experiences of technology transfer and international collaboration (Archeotech / Switzerland and CaeStoft / Spain) regarding the execution of digital surveys and the development of solutions based on technologies of "high density 3D laser scanning", allow him to add value to his clients through cutting-edge technologies.
